WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Currently building a website for W.S.D., a Bombay based NGO. My work includes HTML coding, content, images, application of CGI scripts and upgrades.
  • Worked full time for the British Council from January to April 1999 for the Cultural Activities Unit.
  • Worked full time for the British Council in October & November 1998 for the Cultural Activities Unit, organising events by Peepolykus, British theatre company, and Julian Warburton, percussionist.
  • Worked full time for the British Council from February to May 1998 for The Enduring Image art and artefacts exhibition (presented by the Government of India, the British Government and the British Museum) in Bombay.

AWARDS AND PUBLICATIONS
  • 1994 - Lions Clubs of France Bourse (Les Centres Culturels des Lions Clubs de France)
    Annual award given to international students with one of the basic selection criteria being fluency in French. Awardees spend five weeks in France as guests of the Lions, working on a specific theme and learning about the culture of their chosen region. They also spend a week with a host family of Lions in the same region.
  • 1996 - My entry for the Government Law College's annual Mulla Legal Essay Writing Competition, One Nation, One Law : A Case for a Non-Sexist Uniform Civil Code was published by the Competition Board and the Editors as the lead article in the annual magazine.
